Prof. Dr. Murat Aykaç Erginöz began his higher education at the University of Geneva in Switzerland and graduated from Istanbul Technical University’s Faculty of Architecture. He held a teaching post at the Paris-Sorbonne University (Paris IV). As architect, novelist and translator, Erginöz has many original and translated works to his credit. A number of his works have been made into television series or feature-length films and have been translated into English and French. He has received several literary and architectural awards such as the French Presidential ‘L’ordre national du Mérite,’ the French Ministry of Culture’s ‘L’ordre des Palmes académiques’ and the Turkish Ministry of Culture’s ‘Best Playwright’ award.
